Potatoes wrapped in bacon

    olive oil
  • 5
    wholegrain mustard
  • 5
    dried rosemary
  • 2
    chives, finely chopped
  • clove garlic, crushed
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 18
    baby potatoes, boiled until tender in their jackets
  • 250
    streaky bacon


Blend the olive oil, mustard, rosemary, chives and garlic in a mixing bowl. Season with black pepper to taste. Add the cooked potatoes and stir until well covered with the oil mixture. Wrap each potato in a rasher of streaky bacon and thread three potatoes onto each wooden skewer. Grill over medium-hot coals until the bacon is done. Serve hot.
