1.00 potatoes — peeled
oil — for deep frying
salt

Method:

Using a potato peeler, peel long thin strips of potato. Drop the curls into a bowl of water to prevent them from breaking. Carefully pat dry with kitchen towelling and fry in the hot oil until the strips just turn brown. Drain on kitchen towelling and sprinkle with a little salt. Delicious served as a snack or with steak or baked fish.
