Ingredients (12)

250.00 ml potato — mashed, cooled
2.00 eggs — beaten
125.00 g butter — or margerine
250.00 ml milk — warm
750.00 g flour — cake
30.00 ml Baking powder
5.00 ml salt
15.00 ml sugar
eggs — beaten
FILLING
3.00 eggs — hard-boiled, grated
15.00 ml mayonnaise
2.00 ml parsley — or dill, chopped

Method:

1. Mix potato, eggs, softened butter and milk together.
2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, add sugar.
3. Add to potato mixture. Mix together until smooth and pliable.
4. Pat out on a lightly floured surface and cut into rounds or form into buns. Place on a greased baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and bake at 200 ºC for 10 to 15 minutes.
5. Mix together filling ingredients. Slice buns in half and fill with egg mayonnaise.
