Porridge slices

  • white or yellow mealie meal or polenta
  • olive oil


Make a stiff porridge with white or yellow mealie meal and spoon the cooked porridge into a greased loaf tin. Cool, cut into wedges or slices and brush with olive oil. Brown under the heated oven grill or in a ribbed pan.
