Ingredients (12)

1.00 onion — finely chopped
3.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
5.00 ml curry powder — hot
20.00 ml turmeric
410.00 g tomatoes — whole peeled, chopped
2.00 kg pork — leg, cubed
10.00 ml fresh thyme
30.00 ml fresh parsley — finely chopped
1.00 cinnamon — stick
6.00 cloves — whole
15.00 ml curry leaves — dried
30.00 ml vinegar — white garpe

Method:

Sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil until tender. Add the curry powder and turmeric and stir-fry for one minute. Add the tomato and simmer until a thick puree is formed. Season the meat cubes with salt and brown in a little oil. Add the tomato mixture and remaining ingredients. Simmer for about 40 minutes or until the meat is tender. Season to taste. Serve with rice.
Serves 4-6.
