Ingredients (10)

500.00 g grapes — black
500.00 g grapes — green
350.00 ml vinegar — white
60.00 ml orange juice
lemon — zest only
150.00 g white granulated sugar
2.00 cinnamon — stick
2.00 ml mixed spice — ground
6.00 cloves
15.00 ml fresh ginger — peeled and grated

Method:

Pack clean grapes in a sterilised jar.
Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan. Stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar has dissolved.
Bring to boil, simmer for 2 minutes. Stand for 5 minutes and strain over grapes.
Seal when cold.
