Phyllo parcels

  • 12
    phyllo pastry
  • 100
    butter, melted
  • salmon cream cheese spread (see recipe)
  • chives
  • sesame seeds


Brush the pastry sheets with butter and layer together in twos, cut each square into four. Brush with butter and place 15 ml spread in the centre of each square. Bring up the edges of the pastry, and tie with a chive or strip of spring onion. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 160 ºC for about 15 minutes or until golden. Makes 24
