Peppered pears and duck liver pâté on bagels

    pears, cut into wedges
  • milled black pepper
  • 125
    readymade duck liver or chicken liver pâté
  • 6
    mini bagels, toasted and cut in half
  • 6
    large lettuce leaves of your choice, halved, to serve


Heat butter in a frying pan. Add pears, sprinkle with black pepper and sauté until golden brown. Spread pâté on bagel halves, add a lettuce leaf and top with peppered pears.
