Pepper steak and cream

  • 500
    fillet steak, cut into 2 cm thick slices
  • coarsely ground black pepper
  • 30
    olive oil
  • 125
  • salt to taste
  • red and green peppers, sliced in rings to garnish


Preheat either a 24 cm low or medium NMC waterless pot.
Sprinkle steak with salt and black pepper.
Drizzle olive oil onto steak.
Place steak in pot and brown on all sides.
Cover with lid and turn off stove.
Allow to cook for about 5 minutes.
Add cream and allow to cook over low heat for a few minutes.
Garnish with sliced red and green peppers.
Serve immediately with hot garlic bread.
