Peppadew and cream cheese spread

  • 2
    large, ripe tomatoes
  • 4
    cloves garlic
  • 10
  • 1
    red chilli
  • 30
    olive oil
  • 125
    cream cheese
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


Grill the tomatoes, garlic and peppadews at 220 ºC for 10-15 minutes until soft and leave to cool. Remove the skins of the peppadews and place in a food processor along with the remaining ingredients. Process until smooth and season to taste. Spoon into small dishes or ramekins and serve.
