Ingredients (10)

250.00 g butter
200.00 g dark chocolate
375.00 ml sugar
4.00 eggs
250.00 ml flour
1.00 ml Baking powder
30.00 ml cocoa powder
CHOCOLATE PAINT
400.00 g dark chocolate — melted
125.00 ml cream
60.00 ml creme de cassis

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 ºC.
Melt butter and chocolate over a low heat. Allow to cool.
Place sugar and eggs in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy.
Gently mix in the chocolate mixture.
Sift in flour, baking powder and cocoa and mix well.
Pour mixture into a well-greased 20 cm cake tin.
Bake for 35 minutes. Cool and paint.
CHOCOLATE PAINT:
Mix together all the ingredients and use to top cakes, cookies and ice cream.
Serve cake with frozen blackberries.
