Oriental Salmon

    frozen salmon steaks, defrosted
  • 50
    peanut or sunflower oil
  • 1
    grated zest and juice of 1 lime
  • 6
    garlic, peeled and sliced
  • 4
    limes, halved
  • 1
    stir-fry mix with noodles
  • 500
    sweet chilli or sweet and sour sauce, to serve


1. Place the salmon steaks on a baking tray, skin side down. Mix half the oil, the lime zest and juice, and the garlic. Pour over the fish. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Put the lime halves onto the tray next to the fish. Bake in a preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.

2. While the fish is in the oven, heat the remaining oil in a wok or large frying pan. Stir-fry the vegetables and noodles according to the instructions on the pack.

3. Serve the stir-fry topped with the salmon steaks, and drizzle with sweet chilli or sweet and sour sauce. Serve the lime halves on the side. Stir-fry mix with noodles, and salmon
