Ingredients (7)

125.00 g almonds — ground
60.00 g flour — cake, sifted
70.00 g icing sugar — sifted
6.00 eggs — white
180.00 g butter — melted
15.00 ml oranges — zest only
icing sugar — for dusting

Method:

Combine almonds, flour and icing sugar in a mixing bowl, whisk egg whites in a separate bowl, preferably with a balloon whisk, until soft peaks form.
Fold into flour mixture with melted butter. Stir in grated orange peel and mix well. Spoon mixture into greased tartlet pans.
Bake at 200 ºC for 15 to 20 minutes.
Dust with icing sugar and serve warm or cool, with coffee or tea.
