Open ham sandwich

    slices white bread, toasted on one side
  • butter

    ham, coarsely chopped
  • 30
    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 25

    readymade sweet 'n sour mustard
  • 1
    egg yolk


Turn on the grill and butter a baking sheet. Lightly butter the untoasted side of each slice of bread. Place an the buttered baking sheet, toasted side facing down. Combine the ham, Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, mustard and egg yolk to form a thick mixture and divide between the four slices of bread. Grill until golden brown on top and serve immediately with a fresh salad.
