4.00 bread — sliced
45.00 ml butter
4.00 eggs
5.00 ml salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

1. Gebruik ‘n koekiedrukker om ‘n gat in die
middel van elke sny brood uit te druk. Verhit
die botter in ‘n pan en braai die broodsnye
aan een kant. Draai die brood om en breek
‘n eier in elke gat. Laat dit oor lae hitte
gaar word tot die brood goudbruin aan die
onderkant is. Die eier moet sag wees, maar
stewig genoeg sodat die brood uit die pan
geskep kan word.

2. Sit dit voor op individuele borde. Pleks
van die piesang en heuning kan jy ook
‘n heerlike smoor van tamaties, olywe en
basiliekruid maak.
