Ingredients (6)

190.00 ml white rice
15.00 ml oil
60.00 ml golden syrup
125.00 ml cashew nuts — toasted, unsalted
15.00 ml fresh coriander — chopped
15.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped

Method:

Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet. Rinse under cold water and drain.
Heat the oil in a pan and stir in the rice. Add the remaining ingredients and stir over medium heat until warmed through.
Serve with tomato and fish stew (see recipe).
