2.00 Tbs fresh chillies — 573
1000.00 ml onion — chopped
3.00 Tbs olive oil — or canola oil
2.00 tsp salt
1.00 tsp curry powder
2.00 tsp cumin — ground
2.00 tsp mustard — powder
6.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
1000.00 ml white beans — cooked
3.00 Tbs vinegar — or lemon juice
3.00 Tbs brown sugar — or molasses
500.00 ml gouda cheese — coarsely grated
3.00 green apples — peeled, chopped
410.00 g tinned tomatoes — chopped
0.50 tsp freshly ground black pepper
250.00 ml breadcrumbs
200.00 g noodles — rice or tortillas, to serve

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onions until soft. Add salt, curry powder, cumin and mustard, and continue cooking for 5 minutes.Add garlic and sauté for 5 minutes. Add all the other ingredients except the breadcrumbs and oil. Place in a greased oven dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and oil over. Cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes, and then remove foil and brown for 15 minutes. Serve with noodles, rice or tortillas.
