Ingredients (8)

2 l cider
6 cloves
3 star anise
1 cinnamon — stick
1 vanilla — pod, split
80 ml pnp castor sugar
1 orange — sliced
2 Tbs pomegranate rubies

Method:

Pour 2L cider into a saucepan.

Add 6 cloves, 3 star anise, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 split vanilla pod, 1/3 cup (80ml) castor sugar, a sliced orange and the juice and seeds of a pomegranate.

Simmer gently to heat through and serve.
