Ingredients (14)

200.00 g pasta
25.00 ml oil
1.00 onion — sliced
1.00 garlic — cloves, finely chopped
1.00 carrots — diced
2.00 celery stalks — chopped
400.00 g tomatoes — coarsely chopped
15.00 ml tomato paste
1.00 ml Tabasco sauce
1.00 ml oregano
salt
freshly ground black pepper
410.00 g baked beans in tomato sauce
125.00 g ham — diced

Method:

Cook the pasta in rapidly boiling water until just done. Drain and keep warm over boiling water.
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
Add the carrot, celery and tomatoes and simmer until a thickish sauce is formed.
Season with Tabasco sauce, origanum, and salt and pepper to taste.
Add the baked beans and diced ham and heat through.
Serve with pasta.
