Ingredients (7)

600.00 g lamb — boned leg, cubed
4.00 pita breads
lettuce — salad ingredients
MARINADE
250.00 ml yoghurt — Greek
15.00 ml fresh mint — chopped
15.00 ml honey
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

MARINADE: Mix all ingredients together. Add lamb cubes and marinate for 20 minutes, if possible.
Meanwhile, soak wooden skewers in cold water for 20 minutes.
Thread meat onto skewers and place under a preheated grill, or over hot braai coals. Grill or braai for about 10 minutes, turning once and brushing occasionally with marinade.
Serve with heated pita breads, and salads of your choice, for example, frisée lettuce, cherry tomatoes, green sweet peppers, cucumber and tzatziki.
