Mint tea

  • 10
    Chinese tea leaves
  • 10
    fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1
    piece fresh ginger, roughly chopped
  • sugar to taste
  • 3
    slices lemon (or more as needed)
  • mint sprigs


10 mins to infuse
Place the Chinese tea leaves and fresh mint in a heatproof jug.
Boil 300 ml water and pour over the leaves.
Add ginger, sugar to taste and lemon slices.
Leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
Strain the liquid into tea cups, add a few sprigs of mint leaves and serve.
