Ingredients

  • 500
    g
    extra-lean mince
  • 1
    tsp
    dried parsley
  • 1
    tsp
    hot English mustard powder
  • 1
    tsp
    dried Italian herbs
  • 1 1/2
    Tbs
    tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2
    Tbs
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2
    cup
    low-GI breadcrumbs
  • 1
    egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • non-stick cooking spray
 

Method

Combine all the ingredients and let the mixture rest in the fridge  for about half an hour.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll tablespoonfuls of the mince mixture into small meatballs between your palms.

Line a roasting pan with tin foil and spray with the cooking spray.

Bake the meatballs for about 15 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time, or until cooked through.

Note: These freeze well.
