Mini hamburgers

    beef sausages, defrosted and casings removed

    onion, halved and sliced
  • 50
    tomato chutney
  • 16
    mini bread rolls
  • fresh lettuce leaves
  • 8
    gherkins, thinly sliced


Wet your hands slightly then roll the meat into 16 mini patties. Preheat the oil in a pan and fry the patties until brown on both sides and cooked through. Drain on paper towels and set aside. Sauté the onion in the same pan until soft, stir in the chutney and heat through. Cut open the bread rolls and fill each with a patty, onion and chutney mix, lettuce and gherkin slices.
