Middle Eastern lamb chops

  • 125
    natural yoghurt
  • 60
    chopped fresh mint leaves
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2
    each ground cumin and coriander
  • salt and milled black pepper

    lamb loin chops


Blend first 6 ingredients to form a smooth paste. Wipe chops with a damp cloth and spread half of yoghurt mixture over. Place on rack of a roasting pan and grill for 4 minutes. Turn chops over, coat with remaining paste and grill for a further 4 minutes for a pink finish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve with salad and new potatoes. TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 4 400 kJ (1 050 Cal). A portion: 1 100 kJ (265 Cal).
