250.00 g marzipan
18.00 glacé cherries — red
200.00 g nestlé easymelt chocolate — dark

Method:

Roll the marzipan into a fairly large square on a surface dusted with icing sugar. Cut into 18 squares. Place a glacé cherry in the centre of each square and press the marzipan around the cherry till the cherry is completely covered. Shape into balls.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave oven on 70 percent power or over boiling water. Dip each marzipan ball in the melted chocolate and leave to set. Pack into pretty boxes or glass jars with tight-fitting lids. Store in a cool place.
Makes 18 balls.
