  • 1
    small onion, finely chopped
  • 100
    dry white wine
  • 500
    marinara mix, defrosted and drained
  • 45
    tomato sauce (recipe above)
  • 150
    mozzarella or Emmental cheese
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • fresh origanum, chopped


1. Place the onion and wine in a saucepan; reduce until half. Stir in the marinara mix, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Drain through a sieve and set aside. 2. Brush deep-pan pizza dough (see recipe) with herb oil, tomato sauce and spoon drained marinara mix on top. Season with salt, black pepper and herbs. Cover with cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200 ºC for 30 to 35 minutes.
