250.00 g cream cheese
80.00 ml sugar
7.00 ml orange — zest only
1.00 eggs — extra-large
15.00 ml flour — cake
chocolate
90.00 ml butter
75.00 g dark chocolate — chopped
75.00 g milk chocolate — chopped
250.00 ml sugar
5.00 ml vanilla — essence
2.00 eggs — extra-large
160.00 ml flour — cake
2.00 ml salt

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC and butter a 23 cm square cake. Dust lightly with flour and shake out the excess.
Mix the cream cheese, sugar and orange rind until smooth. Whisk in the egg and stir in the flour. Set aside.
Melt the butter and chocolate over low heat until smooth, stirring continuously. Remove from the stove and cool for 10 minutes.
Stir in the sugar and vanilla essence and beat in the eggs one by one until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
Sift the flour and salt on top and stir in until just blended.
Turn three-quarters of the mixture into the cake tin and spoon the cheesecake mixture and remaining chocolate batter on top.
Draw a knife through the two mixtures to create a pretty marbled effect.
Bake for 35-50 minutes or until the cheesecake layer has set.
Remove from the oven and cool completely in the tin.
Cut into squares with a sharp knife.
Makes 16 fairly large squares.
