Macaroni with chunky cottage cheese

  • 250
    elbow macaroni
  • 9
    vienna sausages, cut into pieces
  • oil
  • 250
    chunky cottage cheese
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • fresh thyme


Cook the macaroni in rapidly boiling salted water until tender. Drain. In the meantime, fry the sausages in a little oil until done. Mix with the macaroni and cottage cheese, season to taste with salt and black pepper and sprinkle with thyme. Serve with a salad. Serves 4.
