Low-fat banana yoghurt ice cream

  • 2
    ripe bananas
  • 60
    unsweetened orange juice
  • 5
    vanilla essence
  • 45
    icing sugar, sifted
  • 400
    plain yoghurt


Mash the bananas and process with the orange juice until smooth. Add the vanilla essence and icing sugar and mix well. Freeze until hard. Place the frozen mixture and yoghurt in a food processor and process until smooth, Serve in individual glasses, garnished with banana slices. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
