Ingredients (12)

2.00 kg yellow cling peaches — peeled, stoned and sliced
4.00 onions — large, chopped
4.00 garlic — cloves, chopped
250.00 g sultanas
300.00 g white sugar
200.00 ml vinegar — grape
10.00 ml turmeric
2.00 ml cayenne pepper
25.00 ml curry powder
20.00 ml mixed spice — ground
cloves — ground, pinch
10.00 ml salt

Method:

Place all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to the boil over low heat. Stir frequently. Simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until the sauce is no longer watery when a little is spooned onto a plate and cooled. Bottle in sterilised jars while hot.
Makes 1,5 litres atjar.
