Pomegranate virgin champagne punch

Ingredients

  • 125
    ml
    water
  • 100
    g
    sugar
  • 2 X 750ml bottles of non-alcoholic champagne or sparkling grape juice
  • 500
    ml
    pomegranate juice
  • 1
    large lemon, thinly sliced
  • 250
    ml
    pomegranate seeds
  • fresh mint leaves
  • ice cubes
 

Method

 

Bring water and sugar to boil in a small saucepan, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

Simmer for 5 minutes and cool the syrup completely. Combine the non-alcoholic champagne and pomegranate juice in punch bowl.

 Add enough syrup to sweeten the drink.

Mix in lemon slices, pomegranate seeds and mint leaves.

Add ice cubes before serving.
