Emergency dark chocolate mousse

Ingredients

  • 180
    ml
    water
  • 230
    g
    dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • fresh berries or fruit
 

Method

Chilling: 1 hour
 

1. Put the water and chocolate in a saucepan and heat gently, stirring until melted.

2. Pour the mixture into a glass or metal bowl that fits over another bowl.

3. Fill the bottom bowl with ice cubes then put the bowl containing the chocolate mixture on top.

4. Using a whisk or electric hand mixer, whisk the mixture until it starts to thicken and soft peaks form.

5. Immediately pour the mousse into a serving bowl or individual glasses and put in the fridge for an hour or until set.

6. Serve topped with fresh berries or fruit.
