Ingredients (9)

1.00 spinach
5.00 ml turmeric
200.00 g lentils — red
0.00 salt
200.00 ml coconut milk
7.00 ml cumin — ground
0.00 oil
5.00 ml mustard — seeds
1.00 curry leaves — fresh

Method:

Shred the spinach.
Add the turmeric to the lentils and cook in water to cover until tender.
Drain if necessary and season with salt.
Add the spinach and heat until soft.
Process the coconut and cumin to form a paste.
Add to the spinach mixture.
Heat a little oil and toast the mustard seeds and curry leaves until the seeds begin to pop.
Sprinkle over the spinach mixture.
