Lemon syrup

Ingredients 3
Servings 750ml
Time 00:15


  • 500
    freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • grated zest of one lemon
  • 500
    castor sugar


Mix the ingredients together until the sugar has dissolved. Pour into sterilised bottles. Seal and keep in the fridge for up to six weeks.

To serve, mix one part syrup with one part soda water or water. Serve with ice and sliced lemon.
