Ingredients (12)

BATTER
120.00 g margarine — melted
2.00 eggs
140.00 g flour — cake
40.00 g cocoa powder
125.00 ml milk
140.00 g castor sugar
salt — just a pinch
10.00 ml Baking powder
5.00 ml vanilla — essence
decoration — GROUPING
200.00 g milk chocolate
almonds — flaked, toasted

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease a 22 cm diameter circular baking tin with margarine. Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir with a spoon for three minutes or beat with an electric mixer for one minute. Pour into the prepared baking tin and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Melt the chocolate and pour over the cake. Sprinkle the almond flakes on top.
Makes about 15 slices.
