Ingredients (13)

6.00 lamb chops — large
500.00 ml yoghurt — plain
50.00 g apricots — dried, finely chopped
40.00 ml almonds — or peanuts, ground
10.00 ml cumin — ground
10.00 ml cinnamon — ground
25.00 ml coriander — ground
2.00 garlic — large cloves, crushed
5.00 ml cornflour
10.00 ml brown sugar
1.00 ml salt
2.00 ml freshly ground black pepper

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
2. Arrange the chops in a baking dish large enough to hold them in a single layer.
3. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over the chops. Cover lightly with foil.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until meltingly tender. Turn the chops over halfway through cooking. Serve with boiled brown or white rice.
