Kassler rib chops with pineapple

    Kassler rib chops, 20 mm thick
  • 15
    prepared mustard
  • 30
    brown sugar
  • 6
    or more cloves
  • 440
    pineapple slices, drained
  • 60


1. Place each chop on the shiny side of a piece of aluminium foil. Spread each chop with mustard and sprinkle with brown sugar. Place a pineapple ring on top and insert one or two cloves in the pineapple ring. Dot with a knob of butter. 2. Wrap each chop in the aluminium foil by bringing two sides of the foil together and folding them over twice. 3. Place the parcels on the rack of an oven roasting tin and bake at 160 ºC (325 ºF) for 20-30 minutes or till done. Serve with potatoes and a salad. Serves 6.
