Italian-style pork meatballs

Ingredients (14)

500 g pork mince
1 onion — finely chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs — fresh
1/2 eggs — beaten
75 ml parmesan cheese — grated
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
freshly ground black pepper — to taste
handful fresh parsley — chopped
olive oil — wild garlic infused
mozzarella cheese — grated
1 tinned tomatoes — Italian
100 ml wine — dry white
1 tsp sugar
fresh basil — chopped

Method:

Fry the onion in the olive oil until translucent.
In a bowl mix the mince, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, parmesan cheese, parsley, Italian seasoning & pepper.
Form into balls and either fry or place them on a greased dish and cook them in the oven.
Empty the tinned tomatoes into a blender, add wine, sugar and basil, blend, but not too smooth.
Pour over the meatballs, cover with grated mozzarella and bake 180°C until golden & bubbling.
