Ingredients (9)

wooden skewers
4.00 chicken breast fillets — cubed
200.00 g bacon — rindless back or shoulder rasher, diced
1.00 pineapple — small, cubed
BASTING SAUCE
30.00 ml wholegrain mustard
30.00 ml honey
1.00 lemon juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
15.00 ml mustard — powder

Method:

Soak wooden skewers in cold water for 20 minutes. Thread chicken, bacon and pineapple alternately onto skewers.
BASTING SAUCE: Mix all ingredients together and use to brush kebabs. Grill or braai, turning and basting frequently, for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cooked and nicely browned.
Brush with any leftover basting sauce and serve with crusty rolls or bread and salads.
