    slices fresh white bread, sliced about 5-7 mm thick
  • butter
  • 250
    savoury cottage cheese
  • 10
    vienna or cocktail sausages
  • mild chutney

Turn on the oven grill. Spray a baking tray with non-stick spray. Remove the crusts of each slice of bread to form squares. Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread. Turn the slices over and spread the other side generously with savoury cottage cheese. Place a sausage diagonally across each slice so that the ends of the sausage overlap the slices. Spread each sausage with a teaspoonful of chutney. Fold corners of each slice of bread together, thus encasing the sausage. Secure the hotdog with a cocktail stick. Place on the prepared baking tray and grill for about 10 minutes or till the hotdogs turn pale brown and crispy on the outside. Serve immediately. Serves 5-6.
