    oil

    onion, chopped

    lemon juice
  • 25
    ml
    sugar
  • 5
    ml
    vegetable extract (Marmite)
  • 750
    g
    beetroot, boiled, skinned and diced
  • 25
    ml
    sour cream
 

Method

 
Heat the oil in a large saucepan and sauté the onion until soft. Add the lemon juice, sugar, vegetable extract and beetroot and heat. Add the sour cream, mix slightly, and transfer to a serving platter. Serve with extra sour cream.
