Ingredients (12)

400.00 g beef mince — lean
4.00 carrots — finely grated
1.00 onion — finely chopped
3.00 bread — processed into breadcrumbs
20.00 ml Worcestershire sauce
1.00 eggs — large, lightly beaten
10.00 ml sunflower oil
40.00 ml mayonnaise
20.00 ml chutney
6.00 bread — hamburger rolls
1.00 tomatoes — sliced
2.00 lettuce — shredded

Method:

Mix together mince, carrots, onion, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce and egg. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Shape into six patties.
Heat oil in a large frying pan and fry patties for five minutes on each side until browned.
Mix together mayonnaise and chutney.
Place patties on rolls and top with tomato slices, lettuce and mayonnaise mixture.
