Gruyère and bacon rolls

  • 225
    Gruyère cheese
  • 12
    rashers smoked streaky bacon
  • 24
    preserved mango (from mango chutney)


1. Cut the cheese into 24 rectangles. 2. Wrap each rectangle of cheese in half a rasher of bacon with a pierce of mango. 3. Pack into a container, interleaving with freezer film. Freeze. Use within 2 months. TO SERVE: Grill from frozen until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is just beginning to melt. Makes 24.
