Grilled pears with brown sugar

12.00 pears
lemon juice
65.00 ml brown sugar — soft
45.00 ml almond liqueur
200.00 g biscotti
250.00 ml cream — thick, whipped
250.00 ml yoghurt — thick Bulgarian

Method:

Halve the pears and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent discoloration. Core the pears with a teaspoon if desired. Place the pears cut side up in an oven pan and sprinkle generously with brown sugar.
Grill under a medium hot grill for 20 minutes or until the pears are tender. Brush occasionally with the syrup in the pan and move the pears so they brown uniformly.
Meanwhile mix the cream and yoghurt and chill. Sprinkle the crushed biscuits over the pears, sprinkle with liqueur and serve immediately with the yoghurt cream.
