Grilled chipolatas with baby tomatoes on skewers

Ingredients (7)

500.00 g sausages — chipolatas
60.00 ml lemon juice
10.00 ml french mustard
5.00 ml sugar
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
12.00 baby tomatoes
bay leaves

Method:

Sprinkle chipolatas with lemon juice.
Mix mustard, sugar, salt and pepper. Brush each tomato with mustard mixture.
Thread sausages, tomatoes and bay leaves alternately onto 6 skewers.
Place, three racks down, under a preheated grill and grill for 8 to 12 minutes.
Move up to second rack and grill for a further 5 minutes, turning once, to crisp sausages and brown tomatoes slightly.
Serve immediately.
