Green beans with sour cream sauce

    g
    green beans, sliced
  • 25
    ml
    margarine
  • 1
    onion, finely chopped
  • 10
    ml
    paprika
  • 15
    ml
    cake flour
  • 250
    ml
    sour cream
  • 2
    ml
    salt
 

Method

 
Boil the beans in salted water until just tender. Drain well. Melt the margarine in a saucepan and sauté; the onion until tender. Add the paprika and cake flour and stir-fry for one minute. Add small quantities of the sour cream while stirring continuously. Simmer until the sauce thickens. Add a little milk if the sauce is too thick. Pour the sauce over the green beans and serve hot.
