“Golden” turmeric milk

Ingredients (3)

1/4 cup turmeric — ground
1 cup water — purified
1 cup milk

Method:

Combine the water and turmeric powder in a saucepan on medium heat. Stir for 5 – 10 minutes. The mixture will begin to thicken into a paste. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.

Take 1 Tbs of the paste and stir into a heated cup of milk. You can use any milk for this (cow’s, almond, soy, rice etc).

For a touch of sweetness, add some honey, xylitol, agave syrup or stevia. Otherwise enjoy as is.
