Glazed lemon slices

  • lemon slices
  • castor sugar


Dissolve 65 ml (1/4 c) castor sugar in 250 ml (1 c) water in a small saucepan. Put a few slices of lemon in the syrup and simmer until the liquid has evaporated. The lemon slices should remain whole. Put the slices on a wire rack and allow to cool.
