Glacé icing

  • 250
    icing sugar
  • few drops of vanilla essence


1. Sift icing into a bowl and add 30 ml boiling water. Stir until smooth. Add essence or colouring if desired. Makes enough to ice a 22 cm round cake or 12-14 cupcakes.
