Ingredients (15)

350.00 g pork fillets — (or pork schnitzel)
10.00 ml sesame oil
15.00 ml oil
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
30.00 ml fresh ginger — minced
30.00 ml soy sauce
15.00 ml brown sugar — or palm sugar
15.00 ml fish sauce
1.00 lime — juice only
5.00 ml dried chilli flakes
30.00 ml canola oil — or peanut oil
2.00 onion
200.00 g green beans — fine
fresh basil — hanful, torn
rice — or noodles, to serve

Method:

Flatten and cut pork into strips and lay in a dish.
Combine the first 9 ingredients, pour over pork strips and marinate for 2 hours.
Heat 15 ml (1 tbsp) oil in a wok or non-stick pan with high sides, stir-fry onion and fine green beans for 3 to 5 minutes, until onions are soft and beans are bright green and nearly soft.
Scoop out marinating pork strips and add to wok.
Stir-fry for 2 minutes, then add reserved marinade and cook for a further 3 minutes.
Stir in basil leaves and serve immediately with rice or noodles.
